Modern Pagan and Native Faith Movements in Central and Eastern Europe brings together scholars from across the region to present both systematic country overviews - of Armenia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, and Ukraine - as well as essays exploring specific themes such as racism and the internet.
The volume will be of interest to scholars of new religious movements especially those looking for a more comprehensive picture of contemporary paganism beyond the English-speaking world. Nothing in this world is impossible: telepathy, teleportation, dream-travel, self-healing, foresight and so forth.
The only barriers in place, are those created by our minds. Learn how to unlock your mind. This journey is not a simple one, but the destination is worth it. Yes, we can rough it for a while if necessary; we can even sleep standing up. However, it is always good to be able to come home to a warm bed. So that is just one thing a man must have, no matter how hard he may appear to be. Second, a man needs to be loved. I am speaking of an actual love here, not the calling of the male reproductive organ.
A man must be loved: in a childhood, a boy not yet a man is loved by his parents; later, a man is loved by his wife I do not consider men, who run from one woman to the next, to be men - if they act as animals, they are animals!
It is a must have. Men, who are not loved, are not happy. You may argue with me, but think about it logically. Yes, sometimes a man will want to buy something that is just necessary for him e. Now back to the holiday gift giving. Third, a man must have space to grow and develop.
Some men choose to carve from wood, some choose to build houses, some are good at educating younger generation, etc. Our Ancestors always ate only fruits and vegetables that would grow in their region, they never brought fruits and vegetables from foreign and distant regions.
It had nothing to do with availability, but had everything to do with thin energies. Fruits and vegetables that grow in your region will be of more benefit to you, than even the tastiest of fruits and vegetables, which are brought from distant lands. So how did our Ancestors prepare for the cold and long winters, they dried fruits and pickled vegetables that grew in their region. Because our Ancestors traveled all around our Midgard-Earth in ancient times, they never took more than several days of provisions with them, but instead ate the fruits and vegetables which they found in other regions.
Here is a list of beneficial dried fruits, which can be enjoyed year-round. Dried Apricots are an indispensable source of potassium. It has a positive effect on the heart and is an excellent tool for the prevention of cancer.
Dried Dates enhance our performance and can be used as a painkiller for colds or headaches. They are good at strengthening our immune system. Dried Pear has a beneficial effect on our intestines; it removes toxins and heavy metals. Dried or Candied Papaya strengthens the whole body, activates metabolism of proteins and increases sexual activity.
Dried Figs normalize the activity of the thyroid gland, promote excretion of parasites, and is used in alternative medicine as a remedy for bronchitis. Figs actively counteract the development of cancer cells and enrich the skin with vitamins and trace elements.
Prunes Dried Plums are a great tool for the support of a healthy gastrointestinal tract. They relieve constipation and normalize digestion. There are also good for all who suffer from hypertension, have heart problems and kidney or liver problems. Prunes help with rheumatism and improve vision. Raisins Dried Grapes are a good antidepressant and help with diseases of the thyroid gland. Dried Cherries neutralize free radicals within the body; therefore, they have a rejuvenating effect on the skin.
There you have it. Of course, this information is provided to us by our Ancestors and has not been confirmed by the medical community.
Because of such things as allergies, you should always use own better judgement and if you have any doubts, contact your doctor. Written by: Dmitriy Kushnir Have you ever wondered what happened to traditional values, when a husband chose his wife for Life? The answer to that question is simple: They were destroyed by the Institute of Marriage.
As soon as Harmonious family Life mutated from Spiritual to material, traditional family Life was destroyed. The result: an unwanted child and more debt! Now take a look at how traditional union of two people is supposed to be. First, the father of the potential groom or the lad himself searches for a potential bride.
Second, once the potential bride is found notice, no meeting ever takes place until this , a meeting between the potential bride and groom is arranged. It is a family affair, and at least parents from both sides are present although sometimes grandparents and even great grandparents are present. At this meeting, the potential bride attends to the potential groom and all others present in order to demonstrate her worthiness.
After the initial meeting, both the potential bride and groom are taken into separate rooms and asked of their opinion. If both, the potential bride and groom agree to marriage, further preparations are made. If for some reason either the maiden or the lad refuse can be any reason, that may be discovered during this meeting ; the parents of the maiden are presented with gifts, and the lad continues his search.
However, if a maiden had the courage to ask the parents of any lad for his hand in marriage; a lad could never turn down such a proposal. The punishment for turning down such a proposal was the exile from Rod. Third, before marriage took place, both the bride and the groom were explained by all of their parents: if problems should arise, they would be helped by ALL relatives.
Marriage, in old and ancient times, was never a union between two people, but a union of two clans, tribes or families through the union of two people. Lastly, all children brought into this world were the result of true Love between two people and never means to an end. Such children, when brought up in a household of Love and Harmony, created own successful union later in Life.
Both spouses, as you see, are to Spiritually complete each other, for they both have the same. In conclusion: Do not be victims of materialism! Create strong unions! Many of you have heard the tale of how Spartans took on the Persian army of virtually limitless size. Reality, however, is somewhat different from movies that are made to entertain the masses.
In reality, it is believed that Spartans joined forces with approximately 7, Greeks in order to hold back the Persian army of approximately , to , strong which could seem as if a limitless force. Very few of you, however, heard the story of Slavs Russians take on the force of 40, Persians. This battle did not take place in a narrow canyon; it did not take place in ancient history; and this battle was not fought with spears and swords.
This tale is of the military campaign of Colonel Karyagin and his 17th Ranger Regiment against the Persians in Let me start at the beginning. In , the Russian Empire was engaged in war with France and was suffering from many defeats. Even the great military genius Kutuzov could not help the situation. Meanwhile, in southern Russia, the Persian BabaKhan was reading the summary of our European defeats with joy, and an idea was born.
Baba-Khan again went against the Russian Empire, hoping to pay back for the destruction of the previous year - Therefore, learning that the town of Shusha the current town of Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan , where Major Lisanevich with 6 companies of rangers was located, was being approached by a 40, Persian army under the command of the Crown Prince Abbas Mirza, knyaz Tsitsianov sent all the aid that he could send - all soldiers with officers and weapons: hero Karyagin, hero Kotlyarevskiy and Slavic warrior Spirit.
Before they ever reached the town of Shusha, they were attacked by Persians in route, by the river Shah Bulakh on June 24th. The Persian vanguard of 10, soldiers. Without being confused, Karyagin dug in his regiment in a square formation, and for the entire day reflected the fruitless attacks of the Persian cavalry, while Persians were ruthlessly massacred. Then he marched for 14 more kilometers and stood as a fortified camp, when the line of defense was built from supply wagons.
The Persians continued their attacks in the evening and fruitlessly stormed the camp until nightfall, eventually having to stop in order to clear piles of Persian bodies, for funerals, to weep and to write postcards to the families of those who fell in battle. Russian response was of gorilla tactics. They made their way to the Persian artillery and blew it up, throwing the remains of the cannons into the river. However, the situation was not saved. After battling for another day, Karyagin began to suspect that he cannot kill all of the Persian army.
In addition, problems began inside the camp: Lieutenant Lysenko and six traitors defected to the Persians; the next day, 19 or so more soldiers joined them. Thus, our losses from the cowardly pacifists began to exceed the losses from inept Persian attacks.
Again: thirst, heat, bullets … and approximately 40, Persians. The only problem, there were still tens of thousands of guards. It was decided to push through the Persian forces. It led to the chase, shootout, another chase. Finally, our soldiers were able to break away from the Persians in the dark Caucasian forest. Then, they finally came out to the fortress, named after the nearby river - Shah Bulakh. Do you really want to try it? The Persian garrison understood the hint and fled.
In the process, two Khans were killed, and the Russians were able to fix the gates just in time, before the main Persian forces arrived.
But it was not the end. It was not even the beginning of the end. After inventorying the remaining supplies in the fortress, it was discovered that there was no food. The wagon with food had to be abandoned during the break through of the encirclement, so there was nothing to eat.
Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely nothing to eat!!! Karyagin addressed his soldiers. Of the , were left. Nearly all soldiers were wounded, dehydrated, exhausted and in the utmost degree of fatigue. Cannonballs and cartridges were ending. In addition to everything, the heir to the throne of Persia, Abbas Mirza, sat right in front of their gate and repeatedly tried to take them by storm.
You will not die. I, Colonel Karyagin, forbid you to die. I order you to gather all the nerve which you have, because tonight we leave the fortress and invade another fortress, which we will again take by storm, with all of the Persian army on our shoulders. On July 7th at hours, Karyagin left the fortress in order to storm another, an even bigger fortress.
It is important to understand, that by July 7th it was day 13 of the endless battle. With cannons, wagons full of wounded, it was not a walk with backpacks, but a large and heavy movement. Karyagin slipped out of the fortress as a night ghost, and even the soldiers left as guards were able to slip away from the Persians and catch up with own forces, even though they already prepared to die, realizing the absolute lethality of their objective.
As they moved through the darkness, gloom, pain, hunger and thirst, the detachment of Slavic Russian soldiers encountered a ditch, through which it was impossible to move the cannons; and without cannons, the assault of the next fortress, the even better fortified fortress Muhraty, had no meaning, no chance. There was no forest nearby to fill the ditch.
The Persians could catch up at any moment. Four Slavic soldiers one of them was Gavrila Sidorov quietly jumped into the ditch. They laid down as logs; without bravado, without arguments, without anything. They jumped down and laid down. The heavy cannons went right over them. Only two rose up from the ditch. On July 8th, the squad entered Kasapet. For the first time in many days, they ate and drank normally and moved on to the fortress of Muhrat.
Three miles from the fortress, the squad of just over a hundred men was attacked by several thousand of Persian horsemen, who managed to make their way to the cannons and capture them. In vain. The wagons were splashed with red, this time Persian. It rained and flooded the wagons, and the ground around the wagons, and carts and uniforms and rifles, and sabers. It rained, and rained, and rained up until Persians fled in panic, not being able to break the resistance of our hundred.
Muhrat was seized easily, and the next day,. The Persians are by the river Tartar. On July 15th, knyaz Tsitsianov broke and drove the Persians away, and then joined with the remnants of the detachment of Colonel Karyagin. Colonel Karyagin received a golden sword for this campaign; all the officers and soldiers received awards and salary; Gavrila Sidorov who silently laid down in the ditch received a monument at the headquarters of the regiment.
The Ritual of Naming When does a child turn into a grown up and begins to be responsible for own actions? According to most, adulthood begins when a child reaches the legal age and receives a passport. Our Slavic and Aryan Ancestors had it very differently.
The name, which was given to a child shortly after birth, served as a name only for the first several years. Also, before a certain age, for our Ancestors there was no distinction between genders.
Only later, when a child was able to take responsibility for own actions before that parents were responsible for all actions of a child , a child became an adult and there was a distinction between genders. The ritual of transfer from childhood into adulthood was called the ritual of Naming.
The ritual of Naming took place at the age of nine for a child that displayed mystical abilities, at the age of twelve for all children who displayed warrior abilities, and at the age of sixteen for all children who displayed love for peaceful labor. From the name of the ritual itself, it can be seen that a name was given to a child or children who went through this ritual. This ritual was of utmost importance for our Ancestors, for a name is not only the Fate of a human, but is also his keepsake.
The priest also entered this trance, in order to be able to help the child understand what he saw; his purpose was that of a guide. Truth was revealed at the end of this journey. The child was given two names: a communal name and a secret name which was known only to the child, the priest and sometimes to the parent of opposite gender. The communal name became his personal name, which was used in his community for the rest of his life.
It was not rare for miracles to happen during such a ritual, but the result was always the same - the learned names helped to determine the Fate and the Purpose of the human.
The ritual of Naming was one of the most important steps in the lives of our Ancestors. Natural or Not? There are many structures on our Earth, which raise many questions. Most of all, structures that are said to be of natural formation, yet appear to be of artificial origin and cannot be explained by science. More than that, the origins of their creation as put forth by science cannot even be called hypothesis, or even a theory.
The statements put forth by science are nothing more than a best guess, a version at best. As can be seen even in this photograph, this formation is of magmatic origin. Each year, thousands of tourists and mountain climbers visit this location. Such is the nature of man, he is drawn to what he cannot explain. The formation is made up of dark-red sandstone and siltstone shale layers.
Immediately, any reasonable. It is not even granite recrystallized from sandstone rock. There is not a single word of that in the official version. At the foundation, these tubes are bent, as if spreading outward and to the sides as if under the influence of gravity. Very strange. At the foot of the cliff, there are many smaller segments, that fell off from the formation.
I went a step further and asked several individuals without telling them anything of the structure as to how they think the following structure formed. In any case, I will leave for you to decide, whether this structure is of natural origin, or if it was made by an advanced civilization or culture as a biproduct of mining perhaps hundreds of millions of years ago. Masleevskie Poles in Krasnoyarsk Do not confuse the tradition of using different kinds of fermentation in baked goods to using dry yeast, which usually comes prepackaged.
So why did many people around the world switch to dry yeast for all of their baking needs? The answer to that is easy - convenience;. In this article, you will find five different recipes for creating a leaven for sourdough breads without yeast.

Separate the mixture into two halves: to one half add 4 tbsp of flour and water until mixture is of sour cream consistency ; use the second half for making dough and baking bread.
Step 2: This step is to be done as soon as the grain has sprouted. Grind the sprouted grain, mix with 2 tbsp of rye flour and with 1 tsp of sugar or honey.
Recipe 4 - Kefir Leaven Take yogurt or old kefir preferably homemade , age it several days until bubbling and water separation, and odor, which is consistent with sour kefir or yogurt. Add rye flour until the consistency of liquid sour cream. Stir well and cover with a gauze and leave for a day. The leaven will begin to actively sour, it may even sour excessively.
